Especially in the winter it can be a very nice spot with 2 kinds of wind; Low pressure winds from the south-east and mistral winds from the north-west. Winds from he south east bring bad weather: rain, clouds, but a nice temperature about 15-20 degrees in december. The winds are a little bit onshore, but it is still very well possible to ride frontside. Then there is the mistral. Cold wind from the north, cross offshore from the right, not very consistent immediately near the beach. Very sunny, but low temperatures. around 10 degrees. The water temperature is about 13-14 degrees so with mistral it's warmer in the water than outside!! The waves can be BIG. 5 meter waves is not an exception. The waves are quite powerfull, and there are a lot of rocks; it s not a spot for beginners. The level of sailing is very high, on a good day, all french top wavesailors will be there. There are no places to go out, little restaurants, it s very quiet. There is a parking lot where you can stay with a camper. The weather predictions can be checked near the lighthouse, just ask someone, They'll tell you. Text and pictures: Bram pk8 | ||||||
