7 Sons“ stands for seven exceptional freestyle sailors, where each one demonstrates his own skills. The current freestyle champion Ricardo Campello, explains in an interview from the island of El Yaque, how he became World Champion. Beside Campello’s sparring partners Cheo Diaz and Gollito Estredo, Remko de Weerd, worldcup newcomer Antxion Otaegui from Lanzarote; as well as the German top riders Andre Paskowski and Norman Günzlein are reaching deep into their bag of tricks.
Filmed in the freestyle Mecca of El Yaque and its neighbour island Coche, the biggest part of the Windsurfing action was filmed out of the water. The pros are not only showing newschool freestyle windsurfing on the highest level, but are also giving an insight into their lives on the island of El Yaque. In an additional moves special, Remko de Weerd explains exclusively, how to learn the "spinloop" in a fast and effective manner.
