hey pascal... no wonder no one was dropping in on you. There aren't too many people that go as deep into the pocket as you. Hats off...
fyi. it got really bad a couple of days after you had left, with three people in particular not respecting other people (the guy in the pic being one of them). On one occassion I watched the guy pictured above drop-in onto someone with the result of the guy already on the wave being shut down buy a mast high wave. In my back that's not just rude but outride dangerous and stupid.
Hi together, be careful, I know this guy very well. One tip, don't drop into his wave. Stephan, sooo geil. Hoffe Dir´geht es gut und Du bist fit. Bei uns gibts schon richtig Schnee und die Saison am Arlberg ist eröffnet.
I spent about 12 days in Gnaraloo and had absolutely no problems with people dropping on each other - it was never very crowded - but I guess sailing Ho'okipa makes Gnaraloo look like heaven regarding how people are behaving...
Most sailors and kiters seemed to have a lot of respect and were very nice.
I met Stephan (the guy in the photos) and he seemed to be very happy and didn't show any aggressive behaviour.
Wenn da einer mit einem Race Segel unterwegs wäre, .... . Der würde gelyncht. Bemerkenswert - die Tolleranz unter Surfern ist nicht vorhanden. Sowas von humorlos.
the german shown in the pics is the one who does not like to respect rules in gnaraloo! This kind of person does not understand the soul of riding in such incredibile place. learn respect first and then learn to ride.
ah... this would be the guy who doesn 't know the rules and keep dropping in on other peoples waves. A mate of mine nearly dropped him after he repeately pissed of a number of kiters and sailors by dropping on them.
