Die Fuerteventura Wave Classics gehen in die vierte Runde. Vom 17. bis 23. März versammelt sich die Wave Elite im Norden Fuerteventuras.
Getreu des mobilen Formats, werden die vier Teams a drei Männer und einer Frau an den kommenden vier Tagen entlang der Nord- und Nordostküste nach den besten Bedingungen und der fettesten Aktion suchen.

Wie immer bestimmen die Teilnehmer selbst, wo und wann gefahren wird, bewerten sich untereinander und küren am Ende das Siegerteam. Startpunkt ist jeden Morgen das Basis Papagallo Hotel in Corralejo, wo alle Rider unter gebracht sind und von wo aus der Spot Check satt findet.

Die Vorhersagens sehen vielversprechend aus, Event Organisator Orlando Lavandera ist zuversichtlich:
"A year has passed and we are already with the final touches for the fourth edition of the Fuerteventura Wave Classic event. It has been a difficult year in terms of finding sponsors, so first thing will have to be a big thank you to our sponsors which make this event possible. We are also lucky that the whole windsurfing business network of the north of Fuerteventura supports the event and the local commerce is behind us. Add all that to the great group of sailors coming to Fuerte, the same team of photographers and media crew of the last edition and we are all in for a treat. Forecast is already looking promising, the Red Bull jet ski is in the harbor waiting, the Fuerteventura wave classic t-shirt is in the shops and riders start arriving in a couple of days to Fuerte so keep your eyes on the websites to follow the event and if you happen to be in the island come and see us to the beach..we have lots of stuff to give away."
